·       When can I access my storage unit?  You can access your unit at Appalachian Storage any time 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

·       How secure are my valuables?  At Appalachian Storage, we take security personal.  We provide onsite management around the clock and live on the premises.  We also provide video surveillance and extensive lighting.

·       How do I rent a unit?  Give us a call at 844-276-1958 to rent your unit or access our Online Rentals Here.

·       What do I need to rent a unit?  Renting a unit requires a valid government-issued form of identification.  You will be required to sign a rental agreement and abide by the rules.

·       Do you offer RV and boat storage? We currently only offer outside storage for vehicles and recreational vehicles.

·       Can I pay my bill online?  Absolutely!  We offer convenient bill pay services.  Access your account or Click Here.  We also offer automatic monthly bill pay so you never have to worry about missing a rent payment.

·       How do I know what size unit I need to store all my stuff?  Take a look at our storage space estimator to help determine the right size unit (add space estimator widget).

·       What if I only need to rent a unit for one week?  No problem, we rent units for the amount of time you need.  You are not held to a certain amount of time.  We do charge a $15 administrative fee for rental of each unit and a move out notice of _____ days.

·       Do you offer climate controlled units?  We do not provide climate controlled units at this time.

·       How can I get my stuff to a storage unit?  We offer services to help you get your valuables to our storage unit.  Please call 844-276-1958 to discuss available options.

·       Can I work from my rented storage unit?  This sounds pretty tempting but, no.  Living or working from a storage unit is illegal and also in violation of our rental agreement.

·       Can I work on a car in my storage unit?  Because flammable and hazardous materials are not allowed in storage units, working on a car is not an option.

·       Can I store my car in a storage unit?  We do not allow storage of vehicles in our units because they could become flammable and cause a risk of fire.

·       How can I save space in a storage unit?  Knowing how to pack and stack in a storage unit can save you valuable floor space.  View our tips and tricks on packing.

·       Are there specific items I cannot put in my storage unit?  Yes, there are certain things that cannot be stored in a unit such as: flammable or combustible liquid or material, toxic or hazardous material, people and animals (dead or alive), stolen goods, illegal drugs, perishable items, weapons, ammunition, bombs, and vehicles.  If you have an item in question and are unsure, contact us before you store!
